Others seem to be aging around me and I find myself introspecting on whether I’m living to my full potential.
At 67 shouldn’t I be slowing down and living life at a slower pace? Have fewer expectations and simply go along quietly in my new blissful married life? People who know me would say ludicrous. “You have too much energy.”
And they’re right! I have a two hour stretching routine when I wake up, walk an hour several days a week, attend yoga class twice a week and keep stretching my body, mind and soul by trying new things like start up a Death Cafe in Vernon. Vitality breeds vitality….Life is good!

Is meditation for me?
Meditation is a simple but life-transforming skill that can help you to relax, enhance understanding about yourself and develop your inherent potential.
We meet on Monday evenings four times a month. You choose if you’d like to attend only one evening or all of them. Group is more effective than sitting or learning on your own. Ask a friend to join you.
We begin on September 12, 2016 with an introduction evening, and time for questions, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. $15 drop-in.

Four Styles to choose from – Which ones are for You?
First Monday of Each Month: (Note: No class on holiday Mondays. eg. September 5 and October 10, 2016)
1. Beginner meditation evening 7:00-8:30pm $15 drop-in
Have you been wanting to learn how to meditate but don’t know where to start? During this time together you will learn the very basic foundations of how to breathe, how to sit, and how to handle your monkey mind for a long lasting relationship with your inner self. Fifteen different approaches will be introduced over time to help you find your particular comfort of meditating.
Second Monday of Each Month:
2. Advanced meditation evening 7:00-8:00pm $10 drop-in
Be willing to sit in silence for one hour. We start on the hour and end on the hour. Here you practice what you know within a group setting. This helps to strengthen your own meditation.
Third Monday of Each Month:
3. Visualization/Guided Meditation evening 7:00-8:30pm $15 drop-in
This evening works really well for beginners as well as advanced meditators. A journey is set and your mind is focused on a particular path. Clear, clean and charge your chakras, your hara line and your aura.
Fourth Monday of Each Month:
4. Healing Meditation evening 7:00-8:30pm $15 drop-in
Relaxation and body scans helps to achieve a deep relaxation and calm in your whole body. It’s usually accompanied by soothing instrumental music or nature sounds.

It is so important to know when to let go, move with the energy and discover a new aspect of self in the process.
When we’re able to hear, read the signs or intuit the moment is now, our life becomes enriched with well being. Synchronicity appears and everything seems to magically fall into place, like finding that new job, opportunities come your way that you’ve been waiting for, the unknown hits you when you lease expect it and the one finds you. This is not fairytale, this is life in the making.
